Refund & Return Policy
If an item isn’t the right fit, you can request a return from your Orders / Returns page. This Policy applies to purchases on Nylcos unless a seller’s policy is more lenient. In exceptional cases (see “Nylcos Overrides”), Nylcos may require a seller to honor this Policy even if their shop policy is stricter.
Platform Role & Ownership
Except for items sold by the Nylcos Marketplace Store, Nylcos operates solely as a platform connecting buyers with independent sellers. Nylcos is not the seller of record, does not take title to items, and does not manufacture, store, or inspect seller-owned products. Returns and refunds are between the buyer and the seller, with Nylcos providing tools to facilitate the process.
Return Window
7-day window: You must submit a return request within 7 calendar days of purchase.
After approval, follow the instructions provided. Unless stated otherwise, you must ship the item by the ship-by date shown in your return portal (typically within 7 days of approval).
If 7 days have passed since purchase, we cannot offer a full refund or exchange, except where required by law or in the exceptional cases described below.
You may send back multiple approved returns in one package as long as all return slips are included.
Refund requirements
To qualify for a refund, items must be returned in the same condition received, with all included parts and packaging unless otherwise noted.
Items must be unused/undamaged, with tags attached and original packaging where applicable.
Electronics must be factory-reset, free of passwords/locks, and include all stated accessories.
Health & Beauty must be unopened, unused, sealed (for hygiene/safety).
Final Sale items are not returnable (see “Final Sale”).
Original shipping is non-refunded unless the seller or Nylcos is at fault (e.g., wrong item, not-as-described, damaged on arrival with timely evidence).
Restocking fee: $3.99 per return shipment applies to eligible returns. Nylcos or the seller may waive this fee when the seller is at fault.
Who Pays Return Shipping?
Seller pays when the item is not-as-described, defective, wrong item/size shipped, or damaged in transit (timely photo evidence required).
Buyer pays for change-of-mind or fit/feel returns.
Where prepaid labels are unavailable, self-ship with a trackable service and upload tracking per portal instructions.
Facilitation only. When Nylcos helps issue labels or process refunds, that administrative assistance does not change the seller of record.
Prepaid labels may be unavailable for some locations (e.g., outside the 48 contiguous U.S.). Follow the return portal instructions for self-ship.
Refund Method & Timing
Refunds are issued to the original form of payment after the item is delivered back and verified by the seller (or by Nylcos for Nylcos-owned items).
Typical timing: 5–7 business days for processing after receipt, plus 3–5 business days for your bank/card to post the credit.
Refund method cannot be changed after processing.
Promotions/discounts are not reimbursed.
Category-Specific Guidance
Supplementing “Refund Requirements”:
Fashion & Clothing / Accessories: Unworn, unwashed, tags attached. Swimwear/underwear require liners intact and packaging sealed.
Health & Beauty: Unopened/sealed only; no returns for opened products.
Baby & Kids: Must meet current safety standards; no returns for installed/used safety devices (e.g., certain car seats).
Home Living & Appliances / Garden: Unused and not installed; large items may require special packaging.
Sports & Travel: Unused with all included accessories/certifications.
Electronics & Accessories / TV & Home Appliances: Factory reset, unlocked, complete accessories; evidence of tampering may void eligibility.
Books: Return in the same condition (no new markings, missing dust jackets, or water damage).
Final Sale (Non-Returnable)
Items marked Final Sale on the product page or at checkout
Opened Health & Beauty and other hygiene-sensitive items
Installed/used safety equipment where prohibited
Customized/personalized items clearly labeled as such
Gift cards or stored value
Damaged, Defective, or Not-as-Described
Report within 48 hours of delivery via your order (include photos of the item, packaging, and shipping label).
Keep all packaging until the claim is resolved.
If approved, the seller should provide a prepaid label or reimburse reasonable return shipping. In some cases, a partial refund may be authorized without requiring a return.
Orders Outside the 48 Contiguous U.S.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method after inspection/verification.
Prepaid return labels may not be available; you may need to self-ship with trackable service.
Original shipping is not refundable; return shipping is typically buyer-paid unless the seller is at fault.
Title & Risk of Loss
Title and risk of loss for seller-owned items pass from seller to buyer according to the selected shipping method and carrier scan events. This does not apply to Nylcos Marketplace Store items, which are owned by Nylcos.
Nylcos vs. Independent Sellers
Independent seller items. These items are owned and fulfilled by the seller. This Policy sets a minimum standard for returns across the marketplace; if a seller’s posted policy is more generous, the more generous terms apply. Otherwise, the seller’s policy governs day-to-day returns.
Nylcos Marketplace Store items. Only items listed by the Nylcos Marketplace Store are owned/fulfilled by Nylcos, and Nylcos handles those returns directly under this Policy.
Nylcos Overrides (Exceptional Cases)
To protect buyers and the marketplace, Nylcos may require a seller to issue a refund or accept a return—notwithstanding the seller’s posted policy—only when we confirm one of the following:
Counterfeit or otherwise prohibited item
Never shipped / no first carrier scan
Significantly not as described (material misrepresentation)
Undisclosed damage/defect reported with timely evidence
Clear violation of Nylcos Seller or Product Policies
Outside of these exceptions, Nylcos does not replace the seller’s policy and acts only as a facilitator.
How to Start a Return
Go to Orders / Returns and select the item.
Choose a reason and submit within 7 days of purchase.
Follow label/pack instructions or self-ship with trackable service by the deadline shown.
Keep your proof of shipment until your refund posts.

Exchanges
Exchanges depend on seller inventory. If an exchange is unavailable, a refund will be processed per this Policy.
Abuse & Safety
We monitor returns for misuse (e.g., excessive wear then return, part-swapping, empty-box claims). Proven abuse may result in account restrictions or closure and may be reported to carriers or authorities where appropriate.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy. When we do, we will update the Effective date. Your continued use of Nylcos after an update means you accept the revised terms.
